Uleru Institute (Uleru) is a holistic mental health services clinic based in Coconut Grove Florida. Uleru is founded on the vision to bring harmony to the world by guiding individuals to be their true selves and experience wholehearted living.

Meet our Clinical Staff

Dr. Uberto Mondolfi, PhD

Executive Chairman & Clinical Director
Development and implementation of our clinical program. Primary Therapist and responsible for client psychotherapeutic services.
National certified counselor, national certified gambling counselor – level II and certified addiction professional. He is a PhD fellow and holds a number of degrees including a master’s degree in mental health counselling.
He is also a fellow at the National Board for Certified Counselors Minority Fellowship Program, working in an impact program for recovery from addictions. Uberto has provided psychotherapeutic services to individuals suffering from pathological gambling, substance abuse and other psychiatric disorders, as well as children and adolescents who have been abused and/or neglected and are currently part of the foster care system. Uberto has been involved in a number of projects, such as group therapy for pathological gamblers and substance abuse treatment for Native Americans, and has done extensive research on anxiety and depression as mediators for addiction and gambling behavior.

Dr. Cristina M. Casado, AP

Detox & Oriental Medicine Specialist
Development and implementation of our clinical program. Primary Therapist and responsible for client psychotherapeutic services.
Florida-Licensed Acupuncture Physician and Certified Chinese Medical Herbalist. She is a student of Japanese acupuncture master Kiiko Matsumoto and travels annually to Japan and China to hone her skills and learn new techniques.
Her credentials include a B.S. in Environmental Science from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts; a M.S. in Biology from the University of Missouri at St. Louis; and an M.B.A. from Florida International University. Christina is also certified in injection therapy for pain management and detoxification.
For more than 20 years, Christina has been studying the medicinal actions of plants and their uses in medicine. She has extensive experience in international botanical science and was a plant collector for the Missouri Botanical Garden. She is currently studying the use of essential oils in Chinese medicine with Jeffrey Yuen, a Five Element approach to herbal medicine prescriptions with Thea Elijah in the United States and the professional blending of essential oils at the Provence Institute of Perfumery in Grasse, France.
Christina’s practice includes the use of original topical formulations and herbal preparations to complement acupuncture treatments. Christina is an active member of Acupuncturists Without Borders.

Eli Bravo, Mindfulness Therapist

Comunicador, autor, conferencista y terapista. Nació en Caracas, se graduó de periodismo en la UCAB, y tras una amplia y exitosa carrera en medios de comunicación internacionales, hizo la transición para convertirse en una de las figuras más activas en el mindfulness en español. Su propósito de vida es ayudar a las personas a tener una mejor relación consigo mismo y los demás. Su enfoque está basado en el mindfulness y otras técnicas que integran cuerpo-mente y corazón. Certificado en el Mindful Awareness Research Center de la Universidad de California en Los Ángeles (UCLA) y con cursos en Spirit Rock (California) y el Center for Mindful Self-compassion, entre otros institutos de los Estados Unidos, Eli enseña métodos efectivos que ayudan a personas, grupos y empresas a desarrollar su potencial y bienestar.
